About the club
CHIG is one of the oldest orienteering clubs in the UK, and has many large areas of first class terrain.
The club has hosted many major events, including four international competitions. Our biggest event was the 1980 Southern Championships in Epping Forest, which attracted 1,500 competitors. More recently we hosted the 2016 British Sprint Championships in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
